Education
My education has focused on curriculum, planning and methodologies for students in elementary education and students with special needs. I am able to work with students that have physical as well as intellectual disabilities. My diverse background and continuing education in the field of student development and management brings a fresh perspective to the table. Being familiar with an IEP and knowing how to place a child in the right environment allows me the ability to provide them the best education possible in the least restrictive environment. As a teacher I believe in continuing your education whenever possible so as to not leave anyone behind when we should be growing each and every year. I hold an Associates in Arts through Phoenix College, a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and Special Education through Grand Canyon University, a Master of Education in Educational Leadership through Grand Canyon University, and am currently perusing a Doctoral in Educational Leadership with an Emphasis on Special Education.
Experience
During my studies I have worked at various students in an out of the classroom by offering one on one tutoring. I have done this by scheduling their tutoring sessions in a way as to not interfere with any of their classes. I have taken classes that are both grade specific and classes that are specific to subject.

Weekdays after 12 Noon, Weekends after 12 Noon

Up to 15 minutes away for no additional charge, Up to 30 minutes away for a flat fee
Hobbies
Hiking, swimming, running, knitting and crafting. I like to design lessons around play and use manipulatives whenever possible.
