Tutoring College Students in Writing Essays. I enjoy helping students be successful in their academic endeavors. I have taken four years of classes that required writing 1-2 essays weekly. I have homeschool experience too! I have excellent teaching qualities and love to teach others what I have learned. I finished my educational goals with a 3.45 GPA. I am continuing my education in Psychology. I believe that a student who can read and write efficiently will be successful in all of their goals they set. I have a son who has a learning disability, which has given me the extra experience with children who struggle to read and write. When I started to homeschool him in the first grade he was at a level 0 in his reading and writing. In two months he advanced two reading and writing levels. At the end of his first grade year, he was at grade level. I continued to homeschool until he was in fourth grade. He continued his success at grade level.

Hobbies

I love to read and write poetry. I love to teach, encourage, and help students become successful academically. I have six children of my own and have homeschool experience. I enjoy sewing, swimming, hiking, riding bikes, exercising and spending time with my husband. Together we enjoy camping, traveling, and playing games. I love to learn and help other students learn. My main focus it to help others be successful in his/her goals. I am proficient in setting goals and believe goals are important to set on a regular basis. I am very creative and believe that I can adjust to any situation when needed. I think that children are our next leaders, which means they need to learn to lead others. I have mentored other students from various school districts in math, reading and language arts.
