Still raising alone, my 14 y/o son. He attends PV High School. He is a freshman, with 6 classes all A's. I take no responsibility, he does it all on his own. I will help with geometry occasionally. I believe in very strong foundations of the basics. When I see a student not completely in command of the basics, I stop and focus solely on building/rebuilding the basics. Example: if student cannot provide instant answer to 1-10 times tables, backwards/forwards... that becomes the starting point.
