I attended both UCONN and Sacred Heart University, and I am now a classroom English teacher at a middle school. I can tutor students of all ability levels, because much of my education was spent learning to teach special education. I am skilled in many teaching methods and have knowledge of many hands-on activities and other tools to use in my lessons. I believe that every student can succeed in their classes and earn great grades and test scores. When I tutor, I help students learn by keeping them engaged and stimulated, and I often find that my students are then encouraged to learn independently in the future. Many of my students have experienced great success in college and on into their careers. I can tutor Reading, Writing, Essay Editing, Phonics, Literature, Grammar and Mechanics, Public Speaking, English, and many other classes to students of all ability levels. When not teaching or tutoring, I enjoy reading and playing with my dog. I also enjoy music.
