Although I am originally an Ohio resident, I am currently located in Las Vegas, Nevada. I earned a degree in Secondary Education with emphasis on Science and Language Arts from the University of Toledo in Ohio. After completing my bachelor's degree, I attended Grand Canyon University and earned a master's degree in Education Administration. My next step was to teach four years of science to eighth graders. Then I was moved to a position in the school administration and I am currently the assistant principal of a Las Vegas middle school.I enjoy tutoring because it gives me the opportunity to work one-on-one with individuals, and to see their reactions as they learn. I strongly believe that education is important. I tutor students in a variety of academic subjects, including phonics, reading, sciences, and mathematics at several levels. If students are getting ready for tests, I can assist with that too; I can tutor for the ISEE lower and middle levels, as well as the SSAT at the elementary and middle levels.When I'm not tutoring students or working with them as their assistant principal, I enjoy hiking and spending time playing with my dogs.
