I worked as an English tutor at Brigham Young University-Idaho, editing essays and teaching test taking and study skills. Soon thereafter, I started tutoring elementary math, writing, and reading. This job entailed traveling to Las Vegas schools and teaching small student groups. I'm now a reading, writing, and math tutor at a private Jewish school there. Always passionate about the English language and writing, I enjoy helping others find that same enthusiasm while teaching them.Having experienced my share of academic struggles, I know how it feels to be discouraged or fall behind. It's a relief to find someone who can help overcome these challenges. I know that first hand. My goal is to provide students with relief and confidence. It's rewarding to know I've helped a student overcome their fears and I'm never happy until I know they're both satisfied and elated about improving their performance.My bachelor's degree is in exercise physiology. I have a passion for biology and science and recently took the Dental Admission Test. The material is still fresh in my mind so I'd like to teach how to pass this exam. I exercise in my free time and I also recently became a dad.
