I feel that I play a vital role in students' lives through tutoring. One of the most important things we do as educators is help to unlock a student's potential, and figuring out what a student can do best is one of the most fascinating things about this line of work. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Memphis. In terms of teaching experience, I have spent over ten years teaching students from kindergarteners to high school seniors. The majority of my years have been spent teaching elementary school students in one-on-one settings. The subjects I am qualified to teach are widely varied, and include Reading, Writing, Phonics, Math, and English. I have also had great success in helping my students prepare for various standardized tests, including the lower level ISEE and the elementary level SSAT. Additionally, I pride myself in being able to provide my students with an arsenal of study habits and organizational skills that will not only help them in their immediate studies, but also throughout the rest of their lives. In my spare time, I enjoy making crafts and baking.
