Experience
I attended Ohio State University where I completed my undergraduate studies. From there, I attended the University of Miami where I acquired both my master's degree and doctorate degree in American history. Now that I have successfully acquired my PhD, I can use all my knowledge and passion toward helping others learn. The subject of history has always played a large role in my life. I have always had a passion for it. While history will always be number one, I also have a love for English. I have worked with students of all ages and from all different walks of life. I have experience teaching college courses and high school classes. While in the process of completing my PhD, I had to write a dissertation. In the process of writing the dissertation, I really began to learn a lot about the English language. Because of these experiences, I believe I am a wonderful tutor for both the subjects of history and English. My main goal is to help students learn about American historical events while helping them improve their reading and writing skills. I consider myself a very down to earth and friendly person. I also believe that there is a time for work and a time for play. My playtime consists of binge watching my favorite shows on Netflix and watching college football. I also have a love of working out and staying fit.
