I attended the University of Texas-El Paso where I received a Master of Education degree in Reading Instruction and I also attended the University of Minnesota where I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education with a math concentration.
Experience
I am a retired elementary school teacher with 29 years experience. I have also tutored numerous middle school and high school students in math. I like to make learning fun and try to incorporate games, sayings, and mnemonics to help make information easier to remember. I also encourage the use of handmade flashcards in all areas of study, usually including a drawing done by the student, to help with memory.
