Art Major at Diablo Valley College, Pleasant Hill, CA - 2005-2008 Classes also included, but were not limited to: General Psychology, Communications Speech, Critical Thinking, Creative Writing, English, Intro To Architecture GPA: 3.6 How/When: I have had a passion for the arts since I was very young, and went to East Bay School of The Arts Middle School (in Berkeley,) and always selected art classes in high school (Arrow Smith High School in Berkeley)...I took color pencil drawing at Piedmont Adult School when I was 16 and went to private pottery lessons in Berkeley with Diane Stockler. GPA: 3.6

WHY: I find art to be incredibly fulfilling and belief that my art is a manifestation of thoughts, emotions, and dreams that I want/need to release. I hope to inspire others in a compassionate way to learn to express themselves with their own talents, and tune in to their creative side. WHO: May those who desire it, find the courage to awaken and enhance their artistic inner warrior, inherent in All. WHAT: I am currently offering private art lessons/courses in the following areas: -Portrait Realism With Acrylic Paint -Portrait Realism With Color Pencil -Animal Realism With Acrylic Paint -Animal Realism With Color Pencil -Mystical Painting On Medium to Large Canvas With Acrylic -Mystical Illustration with Color Pencil on Vellum Card Stock (Mystical/visionary lessons include plenty of sacred geometry) I provide materials and a tentative syllabus at the first meeting. After the first meeting or two, I create in depth and individualized lesson plans that I feel would benefit the student in reaching their greatest potential. Although, the curriculum I develop is lenient and can adapt as the student discovers things about his/herself, there are some major basic guidelines that I stick to regarding each course. I give handouts on the relevance of our subject matter, recommend reading and artists to observe, and activities that correspond to what we are working on. I give updates on students' progress bi monthly or weekly, depending on the duration of the course and/or the student/client's request. EXPERIENCE: I taught art to elementary school students in various mediums from 2008-2014 with Kidz Art East Bay -I have substituted as a middle school art teacher at a private school in Lafayette, CA -I have taught a few group classes for at risk high school students -I have taught private art lessons in realism and visionary in my own studio for a couple of years (I can provide references upon request) -I have exhibited my Bird Collection at Mythos Fine Art Gallery in Berkeley -I am having an Art Show at Sacred Well in Oakland, CA beginning September 21, and will be exhibiting 5 mystical/cosmic 18"x24" paintings in their shop for a two month period. I have collaborated with my art oriented friends on numerous projects. I have live painted at bar setting venues i.e The New Parish in Oakland, during Wormhole Wednesday Events.
