I taught English as a Foreign Language with both children and adults as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Bulgaria. I taught reading, writing, phonics, science, and math for kindergartners to 9th grade students as the Assistant Head Teacher at a private school in South Korea. Most recently, I was a Teaching Assistant at Marquette University where I taught undergraduate courses in visual communication and applied research methods. My writing has been published in Flash Fiction Magazine, The Marquette Literary Review, and Every Day Fiction. I was also named a winner in the 2014 Norman H. Ott Short Story Contest.
