Graduate with a Bachelor in Psychology, from the University of Maryland University College, with a concentration in Biology. Currently working on my Masters in Counseling with a concentration in mental health and substance abuse, at Grand Canyon University. I plan to become a licensed counselor for the State of Nevada.

Experience

Fluent in Spanish (read, write, and speak) Have had experience in assisting school-aged children reading and writing. I love to teach. I am also applying for the teaching license here in the Clark County school district. Helping children understand a subject by making it interesting is my focus. Hobbies

My hobbies consist of hiking, spending time with my children, reading new psychology books, keeping myself up to date on current education trends. I have travelled too many countries to name, it is one of my greatest hobbies to go to new places and learn about the different cultures. I encourage education in my household, I am firm believer that reading is the key to success. It important to understand what is being read in order for the child to succeed.
