I like to employ a variety of different techniques to help my students learn and better understand the subjects I am trying to teach them. Since I graduated school, I have been working as a tutor, helping students one-on-one. During my time at college, I worked with Jump Start, as well as New York Care, and I volunteered with Peer Health Exchange, which focused on providing health education to low-income schools. I am in the process of earning my certifications to become a teacher, and hope to go into the special education field. I tutor students in many different subjects, including Algebra 1 and 2, Geometry, Elementary and Middle School Math, Statistics, Spanish 1-3, Reading, Writing, Essay Editing, Phonics, Literature, Grammar and Mechanics, College Essays, American History, Summer Tutoring, Arithmetic, Study Skills and Organization, Geography, Pre-Algebra, Public Speaking, Religious Studies, English, Social Studies, Math, and Languages. I graduated from Pace University in New York, where I earned my Bachelor of Arts in English, with a focus on Literature and Culture.In my free time, I love to read and write, and also enjoy running.
