Experience
I am a tutor with extensive experience in studying and teaching Science. I am currently in my second year as a medical student. While completing my undergraduate studies, I tutored other students in biology. After I graduated, I worked with elementary, middle, and high school students as an outdoor educator. I also have experience teaching science in India at the elementary through high school level. I am comfortable tutoring students in a variety of math related subjects, including Algebra, Geometry, and Trigonometry. I am particularly adept at tutoring students in science related subjects, including Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Anatomy, and Physiology. I am also able to help students prepare for standardized tests. My value as a tutor stems from my ability to make difficult learning situations fun. I like teaching because I enjoy seeing the different processes people go through when solving a problem. Teaching is particularly rewarding because I enjoy helping students master complex concepts they previously struggled with. I am also very flexible when it comes to scheduling because I am able to create my own schedule. In my free time, I enjoy snowboarding, rock climbing, hiking, and horseback riding. I am also interested in Science, Math, human rights, and medicine.
