I live in Las Vegas, Nevada. I am a graduate of San Diego State University (SDSU), with two bachelor's degrees. The first is in political science, and my second degree is in Spanish. Because I knew that I needed practical experience, I left the university's confines in order to provide myself with a more rounded education. As part of the completion of my degree in Spanish, I spent my final semester studying in Spain and taking in the culture and history. To gain practical experience for my degree in political science, I also spent time working as an intern with the California State Assembly.As a tutor, I like taking two subjects and helping my students see how the topics connect in real life. I can tutor students in Spanish 1- 4, Advanced Placement U.S. Government & Politics, Social Studies, and Political Science.When I'm not tutoring students, I enjoy watching SDSU's basketball teams play and hiking at Red Rock. During both the winter and summer, I also like to travel to Mount Charleston. Entrepreneurship is another of the pursuits that I enjoy, particularly planning out ideas for new business ventures.
