I'm Deepal, and I'm currently studying at the University of Southern California to earn my bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering. As a high school student, I tutored peers in math in everything from algebra to calculus three. I really felt comfortable teaching others, and so I have continued tutoring. I've assisted students in various math courses as well as standardized test preparation, and students have told me that my methods are efficient and effective. I've noticed that sometimes classroom instruction presents processes that are too difficult understand, so I seek out better ways to help students understand information and solve problems. The nice thing about math is that there many ways to solve a problem and get the same answer, so I look for the method is most comfortable for each student that I work with. When I have spare time, I like to play video games, learn to program, read the New York Times, listen to music, keep up with the news, watch movies, and read.
