I earned my bachelor of science degree in Biology from the New Mexico State University. While studying there, I worked as a CNA (certified nursing assistant) at a hospital in the area, and conducted undergraduate research in a highly specific medical field, with potential applications in the area of cancer biology. I'm now studying medicine, focusing on Family Medicine, as well as Obstetrics and Gynecology. I have a passion for learning, and for helping others as they learn, and I am available to tutor students in a wide variety of subjects, specifically in more medical focused subjects, but also in general math, science, English, social studies, and other subjects. I'm also available to help students as they study for standardized exams like the SAT, GED, or GRE, among others. I respect the courage and dedication it takes for a student to ask for help in reaching their educational goals, and find satisfaction in providing that assistance. Each student has a unique set of qualities that require a personalized learning plan, and I am able to provide that for them. I find that many times, students are only having difficulty in a subject because the information has not been presented to them in a way they understand, so I seek to solve that and lead them to achieve success.
