I'm Kat, and I've been an educator for two decades. I earned an associate degree in liberal studies, a bachelor's in human development, and a masters in elementary education. I graduated with honors each time. As a teacher, my experience includes courses in music, computer technology, and fine arts. I believe in multiple intelligences and multiple learning styles, so I present lessons in ways that mesh with the primary learning style of my students. I'm currently a kindergarten teacher, but I'm looking forward to teaching fifth grade in the near future. I can help students with general elementary school topics, including reading, writing, math, English, and more. In my free time, I enjoy playing the guitar, bass, and piano, listening to music, drawing, painting and designing costumes, and exploring Nevada.
