I am currently pursuing degrees in mechanical engineering and computer science from the University of Nevada. My rigorous academic schedule has given me a firm foundation in the areas of physics and mathematics. I have been tutoring other university students for several years and students of all ages elsewhere. I am especially fond of tutoring students in the fields of math and science. Some of the subjects I tutor include pre-algebra, algebra 1, algebra 2, pre-calculus, calculus 1, calculus 2, calculus 3, trigonometry, physics, mechanical engineering, math, science, C++, technology and computer science, computer science, and related AB courses. My tutoring philosophy is that each student deserves to be treated as an individual. This means that the lessons I create and the style in which I present them are individualized for each student. It is impossible to effectively tutor students as if they were all the same and should all learn in exactly the same way. I take the time to analyze each student's strengths and weaknesses and then create lessons that will make the material more easily accessible to them. I love watching how my students progress over time and how each academic success boosts their confidence and makes them more eager to continue working towards mastery of the subject.
