I can tutor various subjects and have been tutoring my peers since high school, when I was part of a magnet program. Through this, I've worked in the community and with a nonprofit organization (helping kids with learning disabilities) focused on research into autism. I tutor math (algebra to differential equations), biology, and chemistry as well as reading, grammar, writing, history, geography, environmental science, and social studies. Tutoring for many years, I have always stressed that education is so important and tell my students the role of school and power of knowledge can bring out their best throughout their lives. I am now working toward my B.S. in Biological Sciences at the University of Nevada Las Vegas. In addition to my degree, I am concentrating on Cell and Molecular Biology. I can tutor many subjects in the meantime and also help with test prep for various sections of the SAT and related subject tests. When not studying or tutoring, I pass my leisure time by running, reading to continue enriching my mind, and playing tennis. I also play the piano and enjoy its ever soothing melodies. It helps refresh my mind for the diverse array of subjects I learn and tutor.
